The ninth month of the Islamic calendar is Ramadan. This is a holy time when over one billion Muslims around the world practice fasting and give   charity, to other Muslim brothers in the form of Zakat… 

The holy month instills in all Muslims, a sense of piety and piousness. This is reflected by their acts of kindness during the days of Ramadan. Across the world, Zakat and sadaqah gifts help in feeding life-saving iftar meals to poor, hungry refugees, orphans, and victims of war and drought every single Ramadan day.

At the end of Ramadan, Muslims observe a celebration called Eid al-Fitr (the Festival of Fast-Breaking).

During Eid al-Fitr, Muslims enjoy time with their families and often exchange gifts. Instead of the usual gift exchange, Muslims want to further their Ramadan inspired philanthropic activities by giving a gifts for charity.

As a regular activity, during the Month of Ramadan every year since 2013, The NGO World (TNW) strives to keep the spirit of giving high and reach the  persons, families and communities in need. With support Turkiye Diyanet Vakfi , The NGO World is always successful to deliver food packs to families who are in need of support in terms of basic food items. This gesture of kindness and support help to include the abandoned segments of society in the happiness of Ramadan and Eid as gift. In partnership with Turkiye Diyanet Vakfi TNW  also manage Iftar programs for the people who are in need and orphans.
